Refuge

Lucky enough to get into Wallace before the big dump of snow that occured later that day and the following couple. Also assisted a traveller in need who had camped up there and had a flat battery……turned out to be none other than Tony Middleton…….nice to meet you Tony.

Hi Andrew – It was ironic and great to meet you and cheers for the hand mate. I hung about up on the high plains there until mid afternoon, at which point the police came and closed the roads – damn !

Hi Tony, got your number so hoping to get down that way in the next month-6 weeks. Wouldn’t mind checking out the Pinnacles at Woolami and that cave down at Harmers Haven so will give you a buzz to see what you’re up to.
      Cheers

  2. Nice shot Andrew. Looks like a nice covering of snow. Wish I had gone here more when I had the chance.

Thanks Matt, pretty lucky with the snow cover. Previous two days there was nothing and the day after had 50cm so couldn’t have got access to the place…..win some lose some I guess.
