Morraine Glow

After starting a walk in shorts and t-shirt and finishing in beanie, shell Jacket and everything else I had with me (plus a decent dose of man flu) I looked back to where I had come from and noticed the grass on the edge of one of the glacial lakes on Mt Kosciuszko light up before fading to dull grey. Impressive country this, all shaped by ice. Should really shorten the name of the place as kosciuszko is a shit to spell.


This is one of those shots that surprises when you process. Went from being an ok shot as a single image to one that I find striking and had me looking into it for ages.

Snowy Mountains Hideaway

Found this little cottage in the Snowy Mountains and liked it so much that I kept coming back every morning that we were up there. So much character and set in amongst snow gums it was a very picturesque scene. This particular one was -3 degrees so a little nippy
