Shearers dreams

Done heaps of travelling this week……well processing anyway. This shot taken in outback NSW a couple of years ago in a quiet corner of disused sheering shed. I liked the character of the scene, the wood and tin. Hopefully I’ve done it justice in this image

Nowhere over the rainbow

Taken on a sheep station looking towards the western flank of the Flinders Ranges. Disturbed a large flock of corellas to get this image but on the large file a couple can still be seen in the tree to the right of the windmill.

The Station

Taken on the western side of the Flinders Ranges on  a sheep station that we were staying at, 75,000 acres, 4500 sheep. Margin country for farming at best but this year has been good. Big flood late last year and 40mm while we were there so they are thinking of adding some cattle.  This shot was taken as the sun broke through for a rare glimpse that day but it certainly lit up the place.
